What We Build

Kitchen Cabinet Types

We build every component of a fitted kitchen — from individual units to complete room transformations.

Custom lower kitchen cabinets

Lower Cabinets & Base Units

The workhorses of any kitchen. We build base cabinets with drawers, pull-out shelves, bin units, and corner solutions — all to your exact kitchen dimensions.

Custom upper kitchen wall cabinets

Upper Cabinets & Wall Units

Wall-mounted cabinets above the worktop for dry goods, crockery, and appliances. We build to ceiling height where required to eliminate hard-to-clean dust traps.

Custom kitchen island with storage

Kitchen Islands

A custom island adds prep space, storage, and a social focal point. We build freestanding and fixed islands — with or without seating overhangs and open shelving.

Custom tall larder and pantry units

Tall Larder & Pantry Units

Floor-to-ceiling pantry columns with pull-out shelving, built-in organiser inserts, and appliance housings for ovens, fridges, and microwaves.

Custom open kitchen shelving

Open Shelving

Floating shelves and open display sections that break up solid cabinet runs — a popular choice for modern, airy kitchen aesthetics in Accra homes.

Custom kitchen breakfast bar and counter

Breakfast Bars & Counters

An extended worktop or dedicated counter that doubles as a dining or casual seating area. Ideal for open-plan living spaces where the kitchen flows into the lounge.

Materials & Finishes

Cabinet Finishes We Offer

The finish is what defines the look of your kitchen. Here are the most popular options we work with:

Natural Wood Veneer

A real wood veneer over MDF or ply substrate — the warmth of timber at a more accessible price than solid wood. Stained or lacquered in your preferred tone.

Painted MDF

Smooth, consistent colour throughout. Ideal for contemporary kitchens. Any RAL or NCS colour available — matte, satin, or gloss finish.

High-Gloss Acrylic

Highly reflective surfaces that make smaller kitchens feel larger and brighter. Easy to wipe clean — a popular choice in Accra's warmer climate.

Textured Laminate

Tough, heat-resistant surfaces in a wide range of patterns including concrete, stone, and timber effects. Durable and practical for active family kitchens.

Solid Hardwood

For those who want the real thing. We use locally sourced and imported hardwoods for cabinet frames, doors, and open shelving where the grain will be on show.

Shaker & Profile Doors

The door style changes everything. We offer flat-panel, shaker, V-groove, and custom routed profile doors in any of the above finishes.

How It Works

Our Kitchen Cabinet Process

From first message to finished kitchen — here's how the Neewoody process works:

Share Your Kitchen

Send us photos and rough measurements of your kitchen on WhatsApp. We'll acknowledge and set up a site visit for accurate measurement.

Design & Quote

We produce a layout plan and itemised quotation. You review and request changes — we revise until you're confident before any commitment.

Build

Your kitchen is built in our Accra workshop. We use durable materials, smooth-action hardware, and soft-close fittings as standard.

Install & Finish

Our team installs, levels, and finishes everything on site. We don't leave until the kitchen is right — handles, hinges, and all.

What Affects the Price

Kitchen Cabinet Pricing in Accra

Every kitchen is unique, so every quote is unique. Here are the main cost factors:

Kitchen Size & Linear Metres

More cabinets = more material and labour. We quote per linear metre of cabinetry as a starting estimate.

Finish & Door Style

High-gloss acrylic and solid hardwood cost more than painted MDF or laminate. Shaker and profile doors add more than flat-panel.

Hardware Quality

Soft-close hinges, Blum drawer runners, and quality handles are priced separately — we let you decide where to invest.

Island or Breakfast Bar

Islands require additional build time and material, and are quoted as separate line items in your proposal.

Appliance Housings

Building around ovens, fridges, or dishwashers requires precise sizing and often additional trim work.

Installation Complexity

Complex layouts, uneven floors, or ceiling height installations take longer and are priced accordingly.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a kitchen cabinet project take?

A typical kitchen fit-out takes 4–8 weeks from order confirmation to installation. This includes design finalisation, build time, and installation. Smaller jobs (a few replacement units) can be faster. We'll confirm your timeline at the quote stage.

Do you supply the worktop/countertop too?

We supply and fit timber and MDF worktops. For stone, granite, or quartz countertops, we can recommend a specialist or coordinate with your supplier so everything aligns correctly.

Can you work around my existing appliances?

Yes. We measure your appliances and build precise housings around them. If you're getting new appliances, share the model numbers and dimensions early so we can plan the layout accordingly.

Can I just replace a few cabinets rather than the whole kitchen?

Absolutely. We can replace individual broken or dated units and match them as closely as possible to your existing kitchen. It's more cost-effective than a full replacement if the rest is still in good shape.

Do your kitchens hold up in Ghana's climate?

We design for it. We use moisture-resistant board for base cabinets, high-quality edge banding, and finishes that stand up to heat and humidity. We also recommend good ventilation and recommend against placing cabinets directly against exposed exterior walls where possible.

How do I get started?

Send us a WhatsApp message with photos of your kitchen and a rough idea of what you'd like to change. We'll arrange a free site visit, take measurements, and send you a detailed quote within a few days.
