The Commission

A Complete Kitchen Dining Zone

The client wanted to turn a bare kitchen dining area in their Golf Hills Estate home into a cohesive, functional space. The brief covered everything needed to make the room work: a dining table and bench for the open side, a built-in L-shaped banquette to wrap the corner, and a timber-framed mirror above the banquette to open up the space.

All four pieces — table, bench, banquette, and mirror — were designed to read as a single installation. The stained pine tops and matte black X-frame legs give the set a clean industrial edge, while the black leatherette upholstery on the banquette ties the seating together and provides the under-seat storage the client needed.

Everything was built in the Neewoody workshop, delivered, and installed in a single site visit.

The Full Scope

Four pieces, built and installed as one dining zone.

X-Frame Dining Table

Stained pine top on solid matte black X-frame legs. Built to the room's dimensions and designed to pair with the bench and banquette.

Matching Bench

Stained pine bench with matching X-frame legs — sized to run the full length of the open side of the table.

Built-in L-shaped Banquette

Corner banquette with black leatherette upholstery and under-seat storage. Built-in to the corner of the kitchen dining area, wrapping the space and anchoring the installation.

Timber-Framed Wall Mirror

Solid timber frame mirror built and installed above the banquette — adds depth to the dining corner and completes the fitted look.

Scope note: The kitchen cabinetry and countertops visible in the background of some photos are pre-existing and were not part of this commission. Neewoody's scope was the dining table, bench, banquette, and mirror only.
